This basic training session on Google My Business will help tourism sector businesses optimize their listing by providing skills to people responsible for their company’s promotion and marketing.

The training session includes 3 modules, as well as a toolbox.

Module 2 – What should I put in my listing? 

  • Presenting all the information and elements required for an optimized business listing 

Module 3 – How do I do it? 

  • Presenting the procedures for modifying and optimizing a business listing

After completing their training, participants will be able to:

  • Understand its potential and benefits; 
  • Understand local referencing and why it’s important;

  • Distinguish between the various types of users; 
  • Navigate the Google My Business interface; 
  • Identify the essential information on a business listing; 
  • Use the right steps to change the essential information on their listing; 
  • Recognize the essential elements of an optimized listing; 
  • Optimize their Google listing on their own. 
  • Owners and/or managers of Québec tourism sector businesses
